delta' in the local Vagdi Rajasthani Language and this name was given to Shiva
Linga. The Baneshwar fair is held at a small delta formed by the river Som and
Mahi, from Magh Shukla Ekadashi to Magh Shukla Poornima during Shivratri. (Jan-Feb).
